Morning After Pill rant

Today it comes to light that the FDA, apparently under orders from the White House, has overridden the solid recommendation of its own scientific advisory committee and refused to allow the morning after pill to be sold without a prescription. They made official excuses about there not being enough data to show that it was safe for girls 16 and under, but we all know what's really going on here.

How long can thinking people who believe in freedom allow religious demogogues to dictate that unwanted pregnancies and children must be the punishment for what they have decided is immoral behavior?
