Fortune Cookie

I assume everyone's familiar with the fortune cookie game. You know, where you re-evaluate your fortune with 'in bed' tacked onto the end.

Yesterday, I had dinner at Four Seasons House in Champaign, and I got a great fortune:

You are capable, competent, creative, careful.  Prove it.

What a great opportunity! Unfortunately, I was having dinner with my mother.

Having devoted the afternoon to semi-focused housecleaning, I have succeeded in discovering the surface of my kitchen table, which I haven't seen in a few months.

Unfortunately, there's still a lot more mess and not that much more of today to devote to cleaning. But at least I've made a little progress.
