Car fixed.

The good folks at Urbana Tire Co. (the Goodyear store on Vine) presented me with a car with a working window and a bill that was smaller than I was expecting.  They even cleaned off the goo from the duct tape, and fixed the ding in the door so that the car is quieter on the highway than it's been in years.

Earlier today, I found my electronic earnings statement on the U of I's HR site, and it claims that I'll actually get my money direct deposited tomorrow.

Now, if the plumber dude actually comes through tomorrow, maybe I'll be able to get water in this place again, and be somewhere close to normal.
