Date: 2004-04-07 10:40 pm (UTC)The big circles at OVFF, in particular, have gotten pretty brutal in the last few years. There just is no way to have a nice pleasant filk when there are 50 guitars (or more exotic instruments) in the room. I've learned to survive by (a) looking hard for a smaller circle in an alternate room, and (b) setting my expectations at only doing a few songs for the weekend before I leave. I go to OVFF to visit with friends these days more than to actually sing.
