Blast from the past
Jul. 1st, 2006 11:58 pmSo, pretty much at the last minute, I decided to drop by the icebreaker party for my 25th high school reunion, which is officially tomorrow and Monday. I actually had a pleasant time meeting and chatting with a bunch of people I haven't seen in 25 years, even though I didn't much like them when I was in high school. I'm now slightly regretting that I'll miss most of the rest of the reunion, since I didn't decide to go soon enough to reschedule my normal Sunday activities at EFRC, which kill the whole day.
I avoided my previous reunions like the plague, but this time, having my work with the cats and a brand new job to talk about made me feel sufficiently unashamed of being me that I was willing to give it a shot. High school was not a good time in my life, but judging by the sample that were there, my classmates turned out OK.

Nice icon, btw.
