MN trip 4: Friday night party

The excuse for my taking the trip was that my dear friends musicmutt and chirosinger were getting married, so I guess I should post some pictures of them.

We'll start with a few from the party Friday night before the wedding.

                                                                                                                                                                             

Cooking in the rain                 Gray tends the grill at his own wedding.  Even when it starts raining.  Now that's dedication.

Gray reads the letter                 The Letter accompanied the paper T.Rex in front of him.  It was the kind of funny letter that only a 6 year old can write.

Display it with pride!                 Becca holds up a "unique" gift.

The Bug!                 janmagic's gift was in a cooler.  It looked a little bit like the face of a giant bug to start with, so she decorated it...

Duckie card                 The Bug also came with a card which popped up a 3-D duckie.

although you missed the best one where graham was holding his head in laughter trying not to fall on the floor in pain.

the letter was great. only about 10 sentences yet it took almost 10 minuets to get through the laughter.

i will be visiting the efrc with my neice ( overnight!) on august 2. if you can make it during the week, great, although i would not expect you to make such a long trip on a work night.

On this one and the Minnehaha falls posting, there is an Entire Screen-worth of blank space above the first photo. At first I thought the browser hadn't properly switched pages.

Are you doing this deliberately or did they just fall up there?

I'm not doing it deliberately and I don't see it in my browser. I've seen it in the preview page in semagic, but I took it for an oddity in that program. There's nothing in the HTML (either in my page source or in the actual page generated by LJ) that should be causing it that I can understand.

FWIW, I only see four blank lines before the first caption/photo pair. I wrote it off to LJ's weird formatting (I always end up with either too many lines or too few around LJ cuts).
