In another forum, someone posted a link to this Seattle Times story about how the Army is building databases of people they want to recruit.  I mumbled the following, and for some reason I feel the need to cross post it here.

Some political philosophy you're welcome to skip if you're not interested )

I got pointed to this story on ESPN's web site, concerning Bush's dealings regarding the Texas Rangers' stadium and associated hypocrisy.  I don't normally pay any attention to sports web sites, but I find it surprising to see one running an openly political and only somewhat sports related story, and I find it even more surprising to see a major corporation's web site running something so critical of Bush.  Is this more normal than I think, with my tiny knowledge of sports web sites in general and ESPN's in particular?  If it is unusual, is it just an aberration, or is it a sign that Bush's image is finally getting tarnished in the eyes of the unwashed masses?
