Snow dog... NOT

I must report that I appear to be in possession of a defective malamute.

Meg does not like the snow at all.  She has several times acted like she wants to go out, and then when I open the door, balked at the snow.

LOL. It snowed here a couple of weeks ago (we get that once every 10 years). Ruairi accepted it fairly well... until the neighborhood kids built a rather fat snowman in the park. Ruairi did NOT like the snowman... not one bit. Apparently snowmen are EVIL. Of course... Border Collies are not expected to be snow dogs... and you can't really herd a snowman anyway. :)

So far nobody here has balked, but Chase is less than thrilled with the depth of the snow. He doesn't mind the snow 'til it gets belly deep, but he's less than happy about having to put his *ahem* sensitive bits in the cold cold snow. Thunder's tall enough that he doesn't have that particular issue, but his coat is thin so he'll play for a few minutes and then come in where it's warm.

Drummer, on the other hand, is so thrilled with snow that he'll stay out until I freeze. I'm not sure he'd ever come in on his own.
