About that one-word meme
Feb. 16th, 2007 06:01 pmTo all of my friends asking me to describe them in one word, I have to say that when I try to think about how to answer that question, the one word that comes to mind is "sadistic" -- for imposing the torture of trying to distill you to a single word that says something meaningful. If I can describe you in just one word you probably don't belong on my flist. I'm posting this in my own journal, rather than as a reply, because if I just responded with that one word you'd probably be hurt, and if I explained myself I'd be "cheating".
Perhaps if I were more a poet, it wouldn't seem both painful and futile at the same time. Or maybe it's just something wrong with me, but this isn't a puzzle I enjoy.
If you feel like describing me, feel free to do so, in one word or many.
