EFRC news: RIP Menelik
Mar. 13th, 2007 09:02 pmThere was no EFRC Report this week because I didn't actually work, but I did stop in on the way home from Dave's memorial and visit. There was sad news: Menelik had died. Back on March 4 she had been having some trouble, and I was worried.
She was a sibling of the four circus tigers, but she was permanently separated from them because she fought with her sisters. She wasn't especially friendly, and we didn't have a strong bond. But it always hurts to lose a tiger.

I took this picture the last time I saw her, because I was somewhat worried that it would be the last time I saw her and I wanted to have a picture.
