The latest in hat fashion! Everyone who is anyone is wearing one!

JR and Uluru like to climb on peope, including getting on their heads. I took a bunch of pictures, and handed my camera to Dr. Dave who took a couple of me. Here's a few of the better ones for your amusement. Dr. Dave is the guy in the red jacket. The cute girl is a new person, I think she's a staff member rather than a volunteer, and I didn't get her name.

They're about the weight of a big housecat. They're quite mannerly with their claws unless they find themselves falling when they might grab. Biting is a little more of a problem; I got nipped on my ears and fingers a couple of times (not hard enough to leave a mark, but hard enough for me to correct them). They are much rougher with each other than with humans, because we try hard to train them that way. If we didn't, they'd already be too big to play with.

i'm impressed with your new fashion statement, [livejournal.com profile] tigertoy.

leopard hats are probably better than leopard underwear, at least when the leopards are still alive ;).

I don't often click through picture cut tags because my dl is just too slow but how could I resist 'pictures of people with leopards on their heads'?

Glad I looked!

It would be hideously unsociable of me to not put a pile of pictures like this behind a cut tag, so I'm glad I was able to tempt you.

Since I live where dialup is the only (affordable) option for getting to the net, I have to spend a lot of time waiting for them myself, first to upload them and then to look at the entry to make sure I didn't screw it up. (And usually to fix it and look at again. Lather, rinse, repeat.) So I do try to limit myself to pictures that are worth the trouble.
