Insult of the day

This put-down just bubbled out of my subconscious.  I don't have anyone particular in mind right now, but I'm sure we've all encountered people it applies to.

"You've got a mind like a steel trap.  If I step on the trigger, it snaps shut, and I have to gnaw my leg off to escape!"

Until I was about 16 I had a completely wrong (yet metaphorically, completely valid) idea of what 'mind like a steel bear trap' meant. Apparently, it was MEANT to mean, 'good and strong and well-made and yay.' Instead, I thought it meant 'incisive, and once shut, never opened again.'

Then there was the confusion over the definition of 'blowjob' ...



Silly kids. If they'd CALLED it 'fellatio' I'd have KNOWN what they meant!
