Lori update: Ups and downs

tigertoyLori was much better this morning than she was last night. I went to the bathroom at 5:30 AM, and she came in on her own and wanted the rest of her food that she'd ignored last night, and she ate everything I gave her this morning and a couple of biscuits. I walked around the yard with her, and she seemed to be enjoying herself, though she was still moving slowly.
I think I'm going to have to get used to her having ups and downs.
I'm trying to figure out how to handle the fact that she doesn't seem to want to stay in the house. She has a spot in the yard by the corner of the house that seems to be where she wants to spend her time. The weather is mild right now, but more December-like conditions are on the way. I think she will need more shelter, but I don't want to confine her against her will.
I really wish I could cast speak with animals right now.
