A friend talked about this machine (in a locked post), and it occurs to me that I would like to try this game out, in some semblance of privacy (the demo at Best Buy isn't a good option, even if they have one, but I'm not so curious that I'm willing to go buy all the equipment myself.  (I don't even own a TV.)  If I know someone either locally or that I'm likely to visit soon who has one I could try, let me know!

Haven't tried the at-home version, but the video game machine of it they had at Marcon was a heck of a lot of fun (and was monopolized by a particular few kids).

I am currently researching one of these myself.

I am failing to come up with a close enough contact of someone who might have one for you to play with. If I have mine before 2bcontinued, Ill bring it along and let you see how you like it.

I just bought [livejournal.com profile] kitanzi a PS2 for her birthday for the express purpose of running DDR on it. The game is quite a lot of fun and rather good exercise, to be honest.

*grin* Does that mean I need to visit, as I said I must if you got it?

What are good weekends for you guys that I should start considering the possibilities of?

I guess you'll just have to come to the SF Bay Area to try mine out. ;-)

If, by some chance, I could talk you into going to Westercon this year (it's in Calgary, Alberta), I could likely be persuaded to pack up my unit, CD, and pad and bring it to the hotel so you could try it out.

I don't even know when Westercon is, but the only way I could imagine getting to a con in Calgary would be if I could take a month-long road trip on which I could just happen to be in Calgary on the right weekend. I don't like to fly to cons; I need much more stuff than I can take with me on a plane.
