tigertoyIn last week's shopping, I picked up a Sonya apple which I had today.
Texture was moderately crisp, just a little soft, but not in an unpleasant way, and not even a hint of mealyness; excellent mouth feel except for slightly too much peel. Taste was quite sweet, with little tartness, but definitely flavorful. Not quite up there with my favorite varieties -- I like more tartness -- but definitely a good apple.
